The Weha A1500 5 Pad Vacuum Lifter was the suggestion of a stone fabricator that was needing to do a lot of panels for a commercial job. He needed a single pad lifter to handle the smaller panels but also needed his slab lifter for full slabs, islands, and typical fab shop use.

It starts with all the ways the Weha A1500 Automatic Tilt Vacuum Lifter can be configured. You are getting several vacuum lifters in 1.

1 Single Pad: The vacuum lifter base has all the vacuum systems, connections, power tilt, shut off valves, and functions. The base also has the center pad. In this configuration the A1500 Vacuum Lifter is a single pad power tilt vacuum lifter with a weight capacity of 300 lbs. The vacuum pad dimension is 12 1/2" x 22 1/2". This allows the vacuum pad to lift small size panels (anything smaller than this can be moved by hand).

Without having the extension bars attached the total width of the lifter is only 36". This allows the lifter to swing in a tight radius, load carts, dollies, line machines, etc . NOTE: ONLY USE THE CENTER PAD BY ITSELF. IF USED WITH OTHER PADS, THERE IS A GREAT CHANCE OF BREAKING THE STONE OR SHEET. THE 4 OTHER PADS HAVE A TOTAL CAPACITY OF 1200 LBS, MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ALL STONE SLABS

2 Pad: Take off the center pad and put 2 pads on the base or add the extension bars and spread them out up to 104" wide.

The 2 pad option gives the vacuum lifter a weight capacity of 600lbs

3 Pad: 3 Pad can be attached to the base only or add the 2 extension bars and spread them out linear up to 104" wide.

The 3 pad option gives the vacuum lifter a weight capacity of 900lbs

4 Pad:

Option 1: With the extension bars run the 4 pads linear up to 104" wide

Option 2: Remove the Center Pad, add the cross bars to the extension bar and spread them out up to 104" wide x 48" Spread.

The 4 pad option gives the vacuum lifter a weight capacity of 1200lbs

5 Pad:

Option 1: With the extension bars run the 4 pads linear up to 104" wide

Option 2: Add the cross bars to the extension bar and spread them out up to 104" wide x 48" Spread.

The 5 pad option gives the vacuum lifter a weight capacity of 1500lbs

Swivel Vacuum Pads:

Each vacuum lifter pad is mounted on a swivel that allows it to spin on 90 degree locks. the pad can be in vertical position and then turned to a horizontal position. The vacuum pads can also be placed in 45 degree angle positions.

The ability to swivel and move the vacuum pads give greater flexibility in placing the pads on the stone. L shaped pieces, going around sinks, etc are controlled much easier by swiveling the pads.

Weight Capacity:

The Weha A1500 Vacuum Lifter with all 5 vacuum pads has a capacity of 1500lbs in both vertical and horizontal positions. This capacity will handle the largest granite slab to date, with extra safety room.

Each individual vacuum pad is rated for 300 lbs. Even when using less cups for smaller pieces, the weight capacity per pad is greater than other vacuum lifters on the market.

Minimum and Maximum Pad Spread:

The Weha A1500 Vacuum lifter with 5 pads spread out as far as it can go on the extension bar as well as the crossbar will have a maximum spread of 108" x 58".

The minimum spread with the 5 pads close together is 36" x 39"

The entire frame and extensions of the Weha A1500 Vacuum Lifter is hot dipped galvanized. The Weha A1500 Vacuum Lifter will last for 20+ years without any worry of rusting or metal fatigue.

5 Shut Off Valves:

Every vacuum cup has its own dedicated shut off valve. These red on/off valves are set directly in front of the operator to easily control which pads the operator wants to use

Quick Disconnect lines:

Changing from 1 pad to 3 pads, to 5 pads is extremely easy. Simply quick disconnect the air line from the on/off valve and slide the vacuum cup with its hose off of the lifter. Quick and easily.

Automatic Power Tilt for Vertical and Horizontal Movement:

The Weha A150 Vacuum Lifter comes standard with power tilt. This allows horizontal to vertical (and vice versa) movement with a simple control lever next to the hand of the operator.
